After years of delays and controversy, zombie-themed survival game The Day Before is finally coming. A new trailer for the game revealed that it will be released on December 5th. Developer Fntastic has promised to bring the game, which was first announced in 2021, to this date.
The Day Before will be released on December 5
The Day Before was originally announced for release in June of last year in 2021. However, this date was pushed back to March 2023 in order to move to a development process with Unreal Engine 5. In January of this year, it was announced that it was postponed to November 10th.
The game’s final trailer has now revealed that The Day Before will launch early access on Steam on December 5th. The 3.5-minute trailer shows off character creation, the open world, modifiable weapons and community quests.
First introduced in 2021, the game has been the center of controversy. It was even accused of being a scam by many players. However, Fntastic said it is developing the zombie-themed survival game with a team of both paid and volunteer participants.
The Day Before is scheduled to remain in early access for 6 months before its full release. During this time, it will cost 39 dollars and will increase by 10 dollars at full launch.
On December 5, it should be noted that discussions about the game that will enter early access are still ongoing. However, if there is no new postponement decision, it seems like it could be the last bomb of 2023.
